Orange Blossom Orchid (Sarcochilus falcatusorange)

The Orange Blossom Orchid clings to trees, supported by many small roots.

Large leaves fan out from the roots and sweetly scented flowers are suspended on small stems.

The Orange Blossom Orchid is widespread and common, found from Queesland to Victoria.

I have only seen Orange Blossom Orchids in gorges where it is regularly exposed to mists, cloud and drizzle.
