Wolgan Pinnacle

The Wolgan Pinnacle is all that remains of a large pagoda on the cliff edge overlooking Carne Creek & the Wolgan Valley.

The effects of erosion can clearly be seen on the sides where large pieces of sandstone have broken away & in the strange shapes that have been left behind. Large cracks suggest something of the future for this spectacular rock formation.

For now though, the views over Carne Creek & the along the length of the Wolgan Valley make Wolgan Pinnacle somewhere worth visiting.
