Bottleneck Pass

Bottleneck Pass is a narrow pass through the rugged cliff line between Radiata Plateau and the Blue Mountains Range. The pass allows access into the Megalong Valley.

The break in the cliff line is down a steep ramp hidden in a narrow cleft. From there it is an easy walk down through the bush to the creek. A short tape is needed to help intially with the short descent into the creek & a short drop further down the pass.

From the exit portal it is possible to walk across to the 6 Foot Track or to sidle under the cliffs to the east or the southwest.

Heading east leads to Nellies Glen. Heading south-west leads to other old passes up onto the Radiata Plateau.
