Wollemi National Park

The Wollemi National Park is the second largest National Park in NSW. It is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and includes a large portion of the Wollemi Wilderness.

Best known as the home of the Wollemi Pine, the Park also deserves recognition for its beautiful pagodas, canyons, rivers and forests.

Road access to the Wollemi is limited to a few picnic areas and camping areas like Dunns Swamp and Deep Pass.

The only way to really explore the Wollemi is on foot as a bushwalker.

It takes around a week to complete an east-west traverse of the Wollemi. A north-south traverse is a much longer adventure, taking around 3 weeks.
