Tunnel Creek Ledges

The cliffs above the Glow Worm Tunnel & the gorge used by the Wolgan Valley Railway are huge.

There are 2 cliff lines, separated by a ledge, 40 metres wide at its widest & perhaps 4 metres at the narrowest.

There are a number of distinct layers to the ledge. On some layers, if you look carefully, you will see relics from the contruction of the railway.

Erosion has created fantastic shapes in the rock. The micro-climate in the area has produced some wonderful native plants.

The ledge is rarely visited these days.
