The Granites Lookout

At 1266 metres, The Granites Lookout is the highest point in the Kanangra Range and one of the highest spots in the Blue Mountains.

The Granites Lookout is a large granite outcrop. There are fantastic views in all directions from The Granites.

Most Trig Stations are surrounded by thick heath or mallee that has reclaimed the clearing around the trig. The granite prevents regrowth.

Thick heath borders the granite outcrop making the last 40 metres quite difficult but the views are certainly worth the effort.

The Granites Lookout is just a short walk from Rocky Top.
