Seymour Ramp

Prior to 1942 the only access to Seymour Top from Murdering Gully was a set of ladders or using the First Ascent Pass to the south.

In 1942 the army constructed a rough ramp up onto Seymour Top to allow easier access for cattle.

These days bushwalkers use the ramp every day - only occasionally even noticing the stonework and railings.
