Kanangra-Boyd

Kanangra Boyd National Park is wild country and part of the Greater Blue World Heritage Area.

The park is probably best known for the majestic cliffs that form Kanangra Walls. It also has high peaks like Mt Paralyser, Mt Guougang and Mt Cloudmaker, deep gorges like Kanangra Gorge, Shamash Deep and Whalania Deep and many vantage points to take in the spectacular views.

There are many long, overnight walks for experienced bushwalkers and a range of shorter walks too. This country is wilderness and all precautions should be taken to ensure your safety.

Camping facilities are available at the Boyd River Camping Area.
