Blackfellows Hand Shelter

Cave Art at Blackfellows Hand Rock is a reminder of the Aboriginal Culture inand around the Wolgan Valley.

The Art consists of Stencils depicting hands and weapons which are thought to be between 500 and 1600 years old.

The Stencils were made on the sheltered sandstone walls of a rock overhang and have managed to survive the elements.

The stencils are extremely fragile.
