Black Rock Skink (Egernia saxatilis intermedia)

The Black Rock Skink is large, robust lizard with well developed limbs & digits.

These lizards are found from the Newnes Plateau south to the Grampians in Victoria. They live on rock formations where they can find easily shelter in crevices. Occasionally they will shelter in timber.

The Black Rock Skink is omnivorous. It bears up to 6 live young.
