Comments:

The Place That Time Forgot is a name used by bushwalkers to describe a beautiful gorge located between Little Rock Island and Rock Island.

The gorge has high cliffs with a number of slots that invite exploration.  One naoor slot leads onto Rock Island.  It is so narrow it would be easily missed.

There is a dome-shaped overhang in which a constant water source, high in minerals, has built a large chocolate stalagmite.

The floor of the gorge is covered with tall ferns.  In places there are giant tree ferns.  Beautiful ferns adorn the cliff faces.  There are extremely large Eucalypts, protected by their remoteness and the rugged terrain.
