Map: LPI Ben Bullen 89314S GR: 424 262 Track Notes: Comments: The Newnes Camping Area is located in the Wollemi National Park about 300 metres along the track from Newnes. The camping area is nestled in the Little Capertee Creek valley, surrounded by the spectacular landscape of the Wollomi National Park. It has room for 80 camp sites.There are 2 toilets. Water and firewood is not provided - you must bring your own. Newnes offers a range of activities including camping, bushwalking and exploring the old Newnes Oil Works ruins & the remains of the Wolgan Valley Railway. A number of well marked tracks have been constructed to display and explain various aspects of the Newnes Oil Works.
