Mt Werong Creek, on the western slopes of Mt Werong, drains into headwaters of the Abercrombie River.

It is a pretty creek running through a steep, narrow valley.

During dry periods it is a peaceful place to visit with water flowing gently over the little cascades and waterfalls.

During periods of heavy rain it is a raging torent.
