Federal Falls Camping Area

Maps: LPI Molong 8631 GR: 840 082 Track Notes: Comments: The Federal Falls Picnic and Camping Area is located on Towac Way, 500 metres from the intersection with the Mt Canobolas summit road. The camping area is well equipped with around 10 sites, fireplaces, picnic tables, a covered barbecue area and toilets. Parking is provided in a parking area adjacent to the camping area. The camping area is not suitable for caravans and camper trailers. You need to supply your own water and wood for the barbecues. Usually a quiet place, on some weekends it can be quite crowded. Three interesting walks (to Federal Falls, Hopetown Falls and the summit of Mt Canobolas) start at the Federal Falls Camping Area. |
