Maps: LPI Kanangra 89303S GR: 341 381 Track Notes: Comments Gentles Lookout (Gentles Sheerdown) is a lookout offering commanding views over Thurat Spires & Kanangra Deep as well as into the Pooken Hole (the Den of the Mist Monster). The lookout is on a level bench south-east of Mt Danae. It is possible to climb the ridge up from Kanangra Deep to get to Gentles Lookout. The quickest approach is from the King Pin Fire Trail. Interesting scenery, geology & vegetation make the effort worthwhile. But sometimes there is just no view at all.
