The Dance Floor Cave

Map: Kanangra 89303S GR: 333 352 Comments: The Dance Floor Cave is a large overhang a little way south from Murdering Gully along the base of the Seymour Top cliff line. The cave is on the old cattle route from the Burragorang Valley to Oberon. Families used to gather at the cave to dance. A wooden dance platform was built in the cave - unfortunately no longer there - where families from the district would gather. These days the cave is used as a shelter for hikers. |
