Map: Kanangra 89303S GR: 332 354 Track Notes: Comments: The Grand Gorge Lookout is an old lookout that is not visited often. The Lookout is a short way through the heath along the cliff tops above the walking track down to Murdering Gully. A series of rock shelves allow excellent views of Thurat Walls, Thurat Spires, Kanangra Deep, the Gangerang Range and Kanangra Walls. It is certainly worth the short deviation to see this rugged landscape from a different aspect. The Grand Gorge Lookout is marked on Dunphy's Gangerang map. |
