Comments:
Mt Colboyd is a large rocky outcrop surrounded by cliffs. A pass on the southern side allows access through the cliffs to the top.
There are large overhangs in the southern cliffs with level sandy bottoms that could used for shelter if necessary.
Mt Colboyd is about 1 kilometre south of Pindari Top. It is part of a chain of remnants along the Colboyd Range running down to Middle Christys.
Mt Colboyd is mostly covered with dry sclerophyll forest but the northern, southern and eastern tips are covered with heath.
Krok's View lookout on the southern tip of Mt Colboyd offers long views of Middle Christys and Tartarus Deep.
