Kalang Falls and Kanangra Brook

Map: Kanangra 89303S GR: 328 358 Track Notes: Comments: Kanangra Brook rises just 3.5 kilometres west of Kanangra Walls. It flows east past Kittani Top before plunging over Kalang Falls into Kanangra Gorge to join Kanangra Creek. Kalanga Falls are a series of wateralls that are very popular with canyoners. Kanangra Brook has a short canyon section just below the first Kalang waterfall. There are a chain of lovely pools and cascades before the canyon reaches Kanangra Gorge and the creek drops of Kalang Falls to the valley below. A track (with lots of steps) has been constructed to allow visitors to Kanangra Walls to see Kalang Falls and explore Kanangra Brook between the top falls and the main falls. |
