Comments:
The Capertee Reserve is an area over about 366 hectares immediately south of the village of Capertee & west of the Lithgow to Gwabegar Railway Line.
The reserve is mostly native bushland. The main attractions in the reserve are Blackmans Crown & the Shale Mining Relics.
The views from the top of Blackmans Crown are phenomenal and there is plenty to interest history buffs.
Plenty of parking is available at Pearsons Lookout but take care crossing the Catlereagh Highway.
