Track Notes:

Comments:

The Miners Pass winds its way down the north face of Mt Solitary into the Jamison Valley.

The pass leaves the walking track across Mt Solitary about 800 metres west of The Col.

The route descends a steep ravine through the upper cliff line.  From there it heads east under the cliffs for about 100 metres before descending through some short, steep scrambles and heading west under the lower cliffs, gradually working down to join a ridge in the JamisonValley.

The route is well marked by cairns .  A tape is needed at 1 stage.

Any walk incorporating The Miners Pass will be a very long, hard day.

Water cannot be relied on so you would need to carry your own, at least 3 litres per person.
