Lockley Pylon is a hill on the cliff tops of the Grose Valley & the Govett Gorge.
It was named after John Golmour, a journalist who was very active in the campaign to save the Blue Gum Forest.
Lockley Pylon is reached by an easy walk from the Mt Hay Road or from the Grose Valley via a pass through the cliffs from the valley below.
Lockley Pylon is covered with low heath, a beautiful array of colour when in flower.
