Comments:

The Kedumba Valley connects the Jamison Valley with the Burragorang Valley.

The valley is bisected by the Kedumba River which rises near Katoomba and flows through the valley to join with the Cox River as it flows into Lake Burragorang.

The Kedumba Valley was settled in the 1850s by the Maxwell family who established a cattle property.  The main buildings were located close to the Kedumba Crossing.

Early access to the Kedumba Valley was from Camden, some 60 kilometres away but the Maxwells also used the Goats Track Pass to get to Wentworth Falls.

A road into the Kedumba Valley was built in the 1950s.  At one point the cliffs were hollowed out to make way for the road.
