Hassans Walls are a series of cliffs south of Lithgow overlooking the Coxs River Valley and the Hartley Valley.
Hassans Walls are part of the Hassans Walls Reserve. There are a number of terrific lookouts worth visiting.
The main Hassans Walls Lookout is the highest lookout in the Blue Mountains.
The Geographic Names Board records that Hassans Walls might have been named after an convict, possibly Egyptian, who escaped and hid in the area when the convict road was being built.
