Black's Corner is a high promontory at the northern end of Mt Airly.
There is a large basalt cap at the summit. On the northern side a large crater has been cut out of the mountain. The crater is walled with basalt. More basalt can be seen on the lower slopes of Black's Corner. It is possible that this is a volcanic neck or vent.
Black's Corner is one of the highest points in the area & offers wonderful views in all directions.
