Pt Hatteras is a promontory on the north west side of Genowlan Mountain.
The western side of Pt Hatteras is defined by high cliffs, mostly impassable.
The eastern boundary comprises layers of pagodas. The Ladders Defile & The Grotto canyons provide a route through the pagodas.
Once a way has been found through the cliffs, walking is fairly level & the bush is quite open. There are many vantage points on Pt Hatteras to take in the fantastic views.
