Splendour Rock is a War Memorial to Bushwalkers who were killed in World War II.

In 1948 bushwalkers from the Federation of Bushwalkers erected a Plaque on a rock platform at the southern point of Mount Dingo in the Wild Dog Mountains.

The Memorial overlooks a wild & spectacular landscape of valleys, gorges, cliffs & mountain ranges.

Each year bushwalkers gather at Splendour Rock on Anzac Day to remember the sacrifices made by soldiers in time of war.  Many record their memories & feelings in the Log Book.

Splendour Rock is a special place, well worth the effort to visit.
