Flowering Period: Flowers all year but mainly in spring & summer.
Distribution: Common in rainforest & woodland, often forming dense thickets. Found in moist valleys in the Blue Mountains and areas with basalt soil like Mt Caley.
Comments: Lawyer Vine is a climber with stems up to 8 metres long. Prickles vary from large thorns on the thickest stems to small prickles on thin stems.
Lawyer Vine has male & female plants.
Thickets of Lawyer Vine can really slow Bushwalkers down as they try to work their way past the prickly stems.
