Family:  Proteaceae

Flowering Period:    Summer.

Distribution:  Widely distributed along creek banks, in gullies & on sandstone ridges of the Blue Mountains, up to 1000 metres. 

Comments:  Grows to about 4 or 5 metres along creeks but is usually much smaller elsewhere.

Flowers range from cream to a pale green colour.  The linear leaves are usually toothed.  Seed pods are greenish , with 2 rows of overlapping winged seeds.  Old seed pods dry to brown when open.
