Flowering Period: September to November.

Distribution: Inland areas from the ACT, the NSW to Queensland on the slopes & tableands where there are cold wet winters & hot dry summers. Grows in a range of soil types in eucalypt woodland, heath & creek banks.

Comments: Highly variable with a number of different races, forms & flower colour. Pollinated by birds.
