Family: Anthericaceae
Flowering Period: Usually October to December.
Distribution: Widespread and commonly found growing in open forest and woodland.
Comments: The Fringe Lilly plant does not attract attention until it flowers. The bright, unusual flowers immediately make it noticeable.
While each flower only lasts for a day the plant has a much longer flowering period, producing a series of flowers right through the flowering period. Flowers can sometimes be seen outside the flowering period.
