Family:  Hylidae (Tree Frogs)

Description:  The Blue Mountains Tree Frog is between 40mm & 60mm long, has horizontal pupils, partially webbed feet with toe pads.

It can be a single colour or multi-coloured on its back, usually golden to brown with green patches on the sides.  

Distribution:  The Blue Mountains Tree Frog is usually found near or beside rocky streams or rivers in forest & in woodlands.

It is often found sheltering under rocks.

Comments:  It is a good swimmer even tough its toes aren't fully webbed.
