The Grotto

Comments:

The Grotto is a small walk-through canyon between Point Hatteras & Genowlan Creek.

Iron ladders, foot bridges & railings used to make it much easier to explore The Grotto than it would have been without them. On my last visit I noted the ladder linking the 2 sections had been removed.  There is now no route through The Grotto.

It is still possible to explorer The Grotto from each end.
