Barralliers Crown

Barralliers Crown is a butte, a remnant rocky outcrop on a ridgeline running south-east from Mt Barrallier.

The columns at the northern and southern ends would require rock climbing skills and equipment.

It is not too hard to climb up into the gap between the columns. A tape helps with the descent. It is worth the climb to see the views over Yalpur Gully and Tartarus Deep .

There are excellent views of Barralliers Crown from Mt Barrallier and from Mt Wallarra.

Barralliers Crown can be reached along Wallarra Heights, across Gogy Ridge or via Dione Dell and Upper Christys Creek.

With different routes available, it makes for a great day walk. Some care is needed to enough to avoid the thick heath common to the area.
